Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday shared ‘an alliance logo’ that merges the symbol and names of the SP and the Bahujan Samaj Party. After Akhilesh shared it, the logo is being shared by both Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party leaders and cadres on social media.
In his tweet, Akhilesh wrote: “Impressed by the creativity and the creator of the thought” (in English).

However, there is no word from either party if the logo is officially adopted by the two parties.
Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav had on January 12 jointly announced Uttar Pradesh poll pact and subsequently shared seats – BSP 38, SP 37, and RLD 3, and left two for the Congress. They announced the pact for Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand as well in February.
