National Conference leader Mohammad Ismail Wani was reportedly shot at by unknown gunmen earlier today in Anantnag.
Wani, the block president of the Bijbehara block in South Kashmir, is reported to have suffered some seriously.
Reacting to news of the incident, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah tweeted, “My @JKNC_ colleague Mohd Ismail Wani, block President Bijbehara block in South Kashmir of has been shot & injured. He has been referred to Srinagar. Praying for his recovery.”
