A police constable allegedly shot himself in Chennai on Sunday morning after he was denied permission for leave. The constable named R Gobinath was found dead inside the premises of Armed Reserve Battalion in Chennai.
The 25-year old native of Vadipatti village of Madurai was found dead with a bullet injury. Police sources said Gobinath was feeling unwell and had been requesting for leave.
