Congratulations, Deep-Veer!
As you read this, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now wife and husband.
They wed according to Chitrapur Saraswat Brahmin — the commnunity Dippy hails from — tradition on the morning of November 14, amid close friends and family.
The morning after, the couple are reportedly getting married according to Sikh tradition, the Anand Karaj ceremony.
The wedding festivites are being conducted at the Villa del Balbianello, which overlooks Lake Como, in the same Italian neighbourhood as George Clooney’s villa.
There are no pictures yet and folks are getting impatient back home.
Smriti Irani — former television star and now a Cabinet minister — captured the sentiment perfectly with her Instagram post.
