PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss admitted in Bengaluru hospital with chest pain

PMK leader and Dharmapuri MP Anbumani Ramadoss was rushed to a private hospital in Bengaluru on Friday after he complained of chest pain.

According to reports, Ramadoss was in Dharmapuri to attend certain programs in his constituency, and also visit a few villages.

He was admitted to the Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital in Bengaluru.

“Anbumani Ramadoss has been admitted in our hospital. He came with complaints of giddiness and mild chest pain. We are conducting tests and diagnosis. So far, everything is fine. There is nothing to worry,” senior consultant cardiologist of the hospital Dr Kannan told PTI.

The 48-year-old is also a former Union Health Minister, who served from 2004 to 2009.

However, some reports suggested that he suffered a mild myocardial infarction (heart attack).
