New Delhi: Two persons have been arrested here for allegedly buying a minor girl and repeatedly raping her, police said on Friday.

Faridabad resident Pappu Yadav and city resident Mohammad Afroz were arrested on Thursday and police are now on the look out for a woman named Haseena, a child trafficker, who lured the victim from the New Delhi railway station and first sold her to Yadav and then to Afroz.

“We are looking for Haseena as well as other members of her gang,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baniya.

According to the police, Yadav paid Haseena Rs 70,000 for the victim who is a native of Chhattisgarh and physically abused here for nearly two months.

Having managed to escape from Yadav’s clutches, the victim was yet again spotted by Haseena at the New Delhi railway station.

The woman then gave her a spiked drink and while she was unconscious, she sold her to Afroz who too raped her.

The victim was subsequently found lying unconscious near the railway station earlier in the week following which she was rescued by the police and admitted to AIIMS.
