New Delhi: E Ahamed, a senior leader from Kerala, collapsed in Parliament on Tuesday during the Budget Session.
Ahamed, who represents Kerala in the Lok Sabha, collapsed while both houses of Parliament were being jointly addressed by President Pranab Mukherjee.
He was immediately rushed to a hospital on a stretcher.
The Indian Union Muslim League president has served as MoS for external affairs in the Manmohan Singh administration.
