Russian Ambassador to India Alexander Kadakin died on Thursday morning due to heart failure. He was 67-year-old.
The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, “India loses a dear friend. RIP Ambassador Alexander Kadakin, Russian Ambassador to India since 2009 who passed away early today morning. In him we lost a valued friend who nurtured India-Russia relationship for many decades as distinguished Russian diplomat.”
