Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation for the 27th time through his monthly Mann Ki Baat radio programme.
On the 27th edition of Mann Ki Baat on All India Radio (Akashvani), Modi wished veteran leader Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya on his 155th birth anniversary and wished the country a Merry Christmas. He also spoke on demonetisation drive, digital payment initiative and government’s fight against corruption and black money.
The PM said that in the last few days, cashless transactions across the country have increased by 200-300% and awareness towards online payments and using technology for economic transactions is increasing.
