Ambati Rayadu Handed Two Match Ban For Breaching BCCI Code of Conduct
Hyderabad skipper Ambati Rayudu has been handed a two-match suspension for breaching the BCCI Code of Conduct during the Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy. BCCI issued a statement which read: “Rayudu pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by BCCI and, as such, there was no need for a formal hearing.The charge was levelled by on-field umpires Mr Abhijit Deshmukh, Mr Ulhas Vithalrao Gandhe, and third umpire Mr Anil Dandekar. The BCCI is further looking into the role of Hyderabad Team Manager in this untoward incident,” it added.

Padmaavat Generates Record US$ 4.9 Mn In 4 Days In North America
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ has generated a record USD 4.4 million over its three-day debut period in North America and USD 4.9 million in the first four days, setting a new record in itself. The period drama is now playing in 326 theaters across the US and Canada in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats. The film also set a new record for the biggest single-day gross of all-time for a Bollywood movie making USD 1.85 million on January 27.

Google Crackdown on Malicious Apps
Google removed over seven lakh malicious apps from Play Store in 2017 that violated its policies – 70 percent more than the apps it took down in 2016. 99 percent of apps with abusive contents were identified and rejected before anyone could install them.
