CBSE UGC NET 2017 Answer Key, Verification of Recorded Responses Expected Today at cbsenet.nic.in

The link will be activated today itself by CBSE and candidates must keep a tab on the official website to see the scanned images of their OMR answer sheets and check them with the recorded responses.

CBSE UGC NET 2017 Answer Key and Recorded Responses are expected to be released today by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its official website cbsenet.nic.in. The Board is going to release the recorded responses of the OMR Answer sheets of the candidates who had appeared in the UGC NET 2017 exam conducted across the country on 5th November 2017, last month. As per the official public notice released by CBSE for the Verification of Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheets, Recorded Responses & Answer Key, candidates need to cross check their recorded responses and in the event of any discrepancy they can challenge the same by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per recorded response challenge. Similarly, candidates can also challenge the Answer Key by paying Rs 1,000 for every challenged answer.

The Challenge fee of Rs 1,000 is non-refundable however if the challenge of any candidate is proved correct and accepted by the CBSE, then the money will be refunded.

“If the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. if the recorded response is not the same as marked by the candidate on OMR sheet, correction will be done and the fee will be refunded… Similarly, if the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. if any mistake is noticed by the subject experts in the answer key, a policy decision will be notified on the website and the fee shall be refunded,” read the notification in this regard.

The process to challenge the recorded responses or Answer Key is online only and the application fee is to be paid via a debit/credit card only. As per the official notification, “The challenges submitted by post or in person will not be accepted. The prescribed fee of Rs. 1000/- per recorded response challenged will be required to be submitted through Credit/Debit Card only upto 18/12/2017(11:59 PM). Similarly, there is also provision for candidates to challenge the answer keys through the link available on the website cbsenet.nic.in from 12/12/2017 to 18/12/2017(11:59 PM).”
