CAT 2017 Question Paper and Objection Form Released, Candidates can Raise Objections till 9th December 2017

CAT 2017 was held on 26th November 2017, last month and thousands of candidates had participated in the same. Candidates need to login to their profile with their CAT User Id and Password to access the Question papers, Answer Keys pertaining to the same and Objection management forms.

CAT 2017 Question Paper and Objection Form has been released by IIM Lucknow on the official website for CAT 2017 – iimcat.ac.in.

The latest notification on the website reads, “CAT 2017 Question Paper and Objection Form is now live. Deadline to submit objection form is 2 pm on December 09, 2017,” thereby candidates who had appeared for CAT 2017 can now access the Question Papers and submit Objections (if any) to IIM Lucknow on or before 9th December 2017, 2PM.

Objections Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay an application fee of ₹1000 for each objection submitted to IIM Lucknow via the website. Therefore candidates must check the answer keys thoroughly, clarify their doubts, cross-check with others and provide a substantial authoritative source to support their objection before applying.

A Welcome Move by IIM Lucknow:
Sharing the Question paper and answer keys with the candidates is a welcome move taken by IIMs that will let candidates gauge their CAT 2017 scores by checking and comparing their answers with the official answer keys. Also, by giving the option to raise objections, IIM Lucknow has brought the much needed transparency and feedback mechanism in the system.

CAT 2017 Result:
CAT 2017 Result is expected to be released by IIM Lucknow in January 2018, next month. There is no change in the marking scheme of the exam papers. Candidates who come out with flying colors can expect invitation from IIMs for WAT and PI rounds. Apart from the CAT 2017 score, IIMs also take the past academic record and involvement in extra-curricular activities into consideration to shortlist candidates.
