A major accident was on Tuesday morning averted at the Delhi airport after an IndiGo and a SpiceJet aircraft came face-to-face on the runway, reported PTI.
According to NDTV, initial assessment suggests that there was a miscommunication with the Air Traffic Control.
The report also said that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation is investigating the matter.
Earlier in the day, a Jet Airways flight with 161 people on board veered off the runway at Dabolim airport in Goa while aligning for take off, with 15 passengers suffering “minor” injuries during evacuation.
