A shoe was hurled at Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal during a Sangat Darshan in Lambi on Wednesday.
The shoe hit him and shattered the glass in his hand, reported ANI. One person has been detained in connection with the incident.
This is the second time a shoe has been hurled at the Shiromani Akali Dal chief. In 2014, a shoe was thrown at Badal during an Independence Day event.
