Rahul Gandhi continues his tirade against PM Narendra Modi, says demonetisation a big conspiracy

New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday again hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over demonetisation.

Continuing his tirade against Modi government, the Gandhi scion termed the demonetisation as a conspiracy.

Speaking at the Jan Vedna Sammelan, Rahul mocked at BJP’s slogan of ‘achche din’ saying, ‘Achche din’ will only come when the Congress comes to power in 2019.

Rahul returned to India on Tuesday after enjoying New Year vacation reportedly in London.

Congress has claimed the sudden decision to demonetise Rs 1,000 and old Rs 500 currency notes on November 8 brought miseries to people and damaged the Indian economy.

Earlier, as the 50 days deadline got over following demonetisation, Rahul Gandhi had targeted PM Modi by posing five questions which included the details of the amount of black money recovered since the announcement of the scrapping of high denomination currency and the number of jobs lost due to the dramatic move.
