Vijay Mohan, who has worked in more than 25 films as an assistant director, has turned filmmaker with Seemathanni that has Vidharth and Vijay Vasanth in the lead.
The film was officially launched by director Sargunam of Vaagai Sooda Vaa fame.
“The story revolves around the lives of two friends–who are orphans–and a character named Thangamari (played by Chandini Tamilarasan). How their lives come together is detailed in the plot.
Subhiksha of Kadugu fame also plays an important role,” says a source. Seemathanni is produced by C Prem Kumar. The film has Yogi Babu and Hello Kandasamy in supporting roles.
