Mysskin’s film with Vishal has been in the news since its announcement. Initially, it was said that Rakul Preet Singh would play the leading lady, but she was replaced by Anu Emmanuel. The latest we hear is that Akshara Haasan has now been replaced by Andrea due to ‘date issues’. “Akshara has been held up with Ajith-‘Siruthai’ Siva project. Since it got delayed, she couldn’t go ahead with this one. Andrea is already on board and more than 60% of the film is done,” a source informs.
Shot mostly in Chennai, Thupparivalan has Vishal playing a suave detective. This action-thriller is produced by the actor himself under the banner Vishal Film Factory. Arrol Correlli, who made his composing debut with Pisaasu (2014), is the music director. The film has Prasanna, Vinai and Bhagyaraj in important roles.
