Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin
Producer-turned-actor Udhayanidhi Stalin has announced that he will be teaming up with filmmaker Priyadarshan for his next yet-untitled Tamil film that will be produced by Santosh of Moonshot Entertainment.
While details regarding the project remain a mystery, it is expected to go on the floors soon.
Interestingly, both of Priyadarshan’s last two Tamil films had Prakash Raj in the lead and were serious contemporary subjects.
Udhay’s latest announcement comes fast on the heels of the lukewarm response meted out to his last release, Saravanan Irukka Bayamen.
The actor is currently awaiting the release of Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam and Ippadai Vellum. Priyadarshan, meanwhile, is also said to be helming the Hindi remake of his own Malayalam blockbuster,
Oppam.
