Mercurial cricketer Sreesanth, who has had a brief stint with cinema in the past, will once again be acting in the upcoming film, Team 5.
The film bankrolled by Raj Zacharias under Red Carpet Films will be released simultaneously in three languages—Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
Team 5, which has Nikki Galrani playing the female lead, also has Pearle Maaney, Makarand Deshpande and others on board.
The movie, directed by Suresh Govind, has music by Gopi Sunder, and editing by Dilip Dennis. Scheduled for a June release, the film is said to be about bike racing.
The plot of the film is said to be about how bike racing affects the lives of four friends.
