Actor Dhanush’s Mini Studio, under the banner of Wunderbar Films, will bankroll the Vinay Forrt-starrer Ladoo. This will the production banner’s next after a yet-to-be-titled movie that will have Tovino Thomas in the lead.
Ladoo is being directed by Arungeorge K David, who had announced the news on Facebook the other day.
According to Vinay, the association of a solid banner like Wunderbar Films will help the movie a lot.
“Ladoo may not have a huge star cast, but it is a movie that requires a 40-day schedule and hence a big budget. Naturally, associating with such a production house helps us to come up with a better product. Now, we needn’t worry too much about money issues,” says Vinay.
He added that the move will benefit a lot of budding stars and technicians. “We need not only do movies like Baahubali, but also small films which can help budding artists to establish themselves in this industry,” he added.
Vinay will be playing a accountant and it will be a full-on comic ride. “It is a entertainer and I play a boy next door. Besides me, the movie has Balu Varghese, Alancier Ley, Shabareesh Varma and Saju Navodaya in prominent roles,” he said. Ladoo will go on the floors from Monday.
