NEW DELHI: Bollywood singing duo Preeti and Pinky who are best remembered for their hit song ‘Piya Piya O Piya’ from Salman Khan starrer movie ‘Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega’ have gone bald for their new song. Their new track ‘Hungama Kyun Na Kare’ is dedicated to female cancer patients.
While talking to mid-day.com, Preeti said, “Every woman battling cancer needs a song that gives them the strength to fight. We want their lives to be as beautiful as it is for a non-cancer patient”.
“Beauty is not only exterior. It takes a lot to fight a disease like cancer. Through this song, we wish to lift patients’ confidence,”said Pinky.
The duo who call themselves ‘Dandiya Queens’ said that they chopped off their tresses in order to challenge pre-conceived definition of beauty.
