Director Hari is known for his practice of casting two heroines in his movies. Singam II, for instance had Anushka and Hansika, while Si3 had Anushka and Shruti Haasan. Now it looks like Hari is all set to repeat the pattern in Saamy 2.
The latest rumours doing the rounds is that Keerthy Suresh will be joining Sammy 2, which already has Trisha on board, as the second female lead.
Saamy 2, the sequel to 2003 super-hit Saamy, will once again have Vikram playing the role of a police officer. The project was announced officially announced by the director himself last year at the audio launch of Iru Mugan.
Keerthy Suresh, who co-starred with Vijay in his latest outing Bairavaa, has got a handful of other projects in her kitty already – Thaana Serndha Kootam with Suriya, an untitled movie with Pawan Kalyan and the Tamil/Telugu bilingual biopic on Savitri.
Word has it that she will also be the lead heroine in Lingusamy’s upcoming projects – Sandakozhi 2 and his film with Allu Arjun.
