Vivegam gets another villain

Ajith’s next film, Vivegam, already boasts a star-studded cast with the likes of Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan being a part of the project. Now it seems  that another name will be added to this long list. Arav Chowdharry, a former Mr India, has joined the cast and will be playing a negative role.

The climax portions of Vivegam are currently being shot in the snow-filled mountains of Serbia. Reports suggest that the team is also simultaneously undertaking the post-production works of these portions with the editor, Ruben. It is expected that the shooting in Serbia will be completed by mid May, after which the team is expected to return to India.

Vivek Oberoi, who will be playing the antagonist in the film, has been performing high-voltage stunts involving battletanks at the Belgrade Air Force base at minus 12 degrees.

The newest addition to the cast, Arav Chowdharry is also a part of this team. The actor tweeted about his experience: “An evening in the mountains for my Tamil film, Vivegam with Ajith sir, directed by Siva.”
Arav Chowdharry is famous for his role as Bhishma in the Hindi television serial, Mahabharat.

Meanwhile, rumours suggest that the teaser of Vivegam, which was expected to be released today to mark Ajith’s birthday, will be postponed as the team believes that it would make more sense to reveal the teaser closer to the film’s release, tentatively scheduled to be around the second week of August.

The Vivegam team, which is not  present in India for the star’s birthday, is instead planning to release a set of posters to commemorate the occasion.
