Cinematographer Muthiah who worked on fi lms like Poo and Saguni, has turned director with Madura Veeran. The film, whose poster is now out, is named after the popular MGR film and stars Shanmuga Pandian, the son of actor Vijayakanth.
On the fi lm, Muthiah says, “I have been working on the script and pre-production for the last nine months. We are yet to fi nalise the heroine and the music director. Samuthirakani has been roped in for an important role and KL Praveen will be the editor.
I will be handling the cinematography myself. Stunt choreography will be by Sam of Irudhi Suttru fame.” He also adds, “It will be an entertaining rural action fi lm. I’m quite excited about the script.”
Shanmuga Pandian, who made his debut with the 2015-fi lm, Sagaptham, is also working on another fi lm titled Thamizhan Endru Sol.
