Work on Vishwaroopam 2  resumes

Vishwaroopam 2, the much-awaited sequel to Kamal Haasan’s last directorial venture, has been in the making for quite a while now. Sources indicate that in a recent development, dubbing for the film has resumed and is on at full swing.

The film has been caught up in a lot of tussles post its shooting. Aside from financial issues, it also ran up against technical and legal difficulties. A while ago, Kamal Haasan confirmed this with a statement that he would personally see to it that all the issues were resolved and that the film would be released in due course.
On Friday, Ghibran confirmed that work on the film has resumed once again, when he wrote on Twitter, “Started working on Vishwaroopam 2. Excited and thrilled as it’s my first film started with Rajesh M Selva.”

Rajesh tweeted too: “Yes, Vishwaroopam 2 revived. Post works with the same old crew back in action. Exciting! Vishwaroop 2 (Hindi) and Vishwaroopam 2 (Telugu) dubbing in progress! It’s going to be much bigger than Vishwaroopam.”
With only a week of shooting left and editing also in the final stages, reports suggest that the film might be wrapped up quite soon.
Vishwaroopam-2 has Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Rahul Bose in pivotal roles, much like in the original, and will be simultaneously released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
