Following the success of Chennai 600028: II Innings, Venkat Prabhu is gearing up for his next directorial venture, which will supposedly star Chandran of Kayal fame in the lead. Sources now indicate that the team is also in talks with Nivetha Pethuraj. Chandran won’t confirm that he’s doing the project. “It’s not official yet. But Amma Creations will be producing the film, and they will have to announce it first,” he says. The actor is working on a number of projects. “I have Graghanam whose audio launch will be organised later this month. Rubaai is also ready for release next month. Thittam Pottu Thirudura Koottam will go to the censors soon.” Nivetha, meanwhile, is currently awaiting the release of Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam in which she stars alongside Udhayanidhi Stalin. She’s also busy with Jayam Ravi starrer Tik Tik Tik.
