As a brilliant start to the New Year, the makers of Kabali released five deleted scenes from the film, which are going viral. Producer Kalaippuli S Thanu of V Creations posted on Twitter, “Presenting you the Kabali deleted scenes. Hope you like them.” The scenes that didn’t make it to the final cut are: Radhika Apte-Rajinikanth’s romantic banter, Superstar expressing his love for his wife to his daughter (Sai Dhanshika), a gun being presented to Rajini by a former Malaysian don, Kabali vetting Dinesh (he was in a rival gang), and Rajini finds out about his daughter’s love life.
You may remember that Kabali is the third highest grossing film in 2016 after Sallu bhai’s Sultan and Aamir Khan’s Dangal. It’s interesting to note that Rajini and Pa Ranjith (who directed Kabali) are coming together again for Kabali-2, to be bankrolled by Dhanush’s home production Wunderbar Films. The recent buzz is that Ranjith has already begun work on the film.
