New Delhi: Actress-Dancer Rakhi Sawant grabbed a lot of eyeballs when she revealed that she got hitched to an NRI on July 28 in Mumbai. After keeping her marriage under wraps for some time, the former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant confirmed the news of her wedding by sharing pictures and giving interviews. Rakhi Sawant shared several pictures in which she flaunted her sindoor and chooda. Several fans congratulated the actress for getting married while some questioned her if the marriage was real.
Rakhi, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that she was keen to start a family soon. he revealed that her husband’s name was Ritesh and he was settled in the UK. Rakhi Sawant’s mother and close friends attended her wedding which took place in hotel JW Marriott.

Rakhi Sawant’s secret wedding created quite a buzz on the internet. Fans even went berserk when she posted photos dressed as newly married bride on Instagram as they couldn’t believe Rakhi got married. Rakhi had last announced last year that she would tie the knot with Deepak Kalal on New Year. However, it turned out to be a publicity stunt.

The controversial actress had earlier told a portal that she would join her husband in the UK soon.
“My visa is underway and I will join him. Of course, I shall continue to work whatever I get in India, so will shuttle for that. I always wanted to produce TV shows and I think my long-standing dream will now be fulfilled. I thank Jesus for giving me such a wonderful husband,” Rakhi told SpotboyE.
