Hrithik Roshan & Deepika Padukone To Star In Ramayana? Director Nitesh Tiwari REACTS

New Delhi: Director Nitesh Tiwari, who is gearing up for the release of Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Chhichhore’, is all set to team up with Ravi Udyawar (director of Mom) for the film adaptation of Ramayana. The mythological film will reportedly have a huge budget of Rs 500 crore and it will feature actors from across India, including Hindi, Marathi, Telugu and Punjabi industry. Speculations are rife that Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will essay the role of Lord Rama and his wife Sita respectively.

Duggu and DP are yet to be paired opposite each other in a film and their fans became super excited for the news of them working together hit the internet. Director Nitesh Tiwari, while talking to an entertainment portal, reacted to the rumours.

“You said ‘rumours’, right?,’’ Nitesh told the website.

When asked about the casting for the film,  the ‘Dangal’ director told Koimoi, ‘’I have not yet started thinking about the cast yet. First we are trying to get it right on papers, with our executions, and with our thought process and everything. We are still trying to get there.. baaki baate we’ll start with later.”

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’. The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. It will hit the silver screens on January 10, 2020.

Talking about Hrithik Roshan, the actor was recently seen in ‘Super 30’, which turned out to be a huge hit at the box office. The ‘Bang Bang’ star has ‘War’ lined up for release this year. The film co-starring Tiger Shroff is slated to hit the cinema theatres on October 2.

Hrithik is also rumoured to be playing the lead role if Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty’s remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’.
