Sheila Dikshit Death: Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon & Other B’wood Celebs Offer Condolences

New Delhi: Senior Congress lead and former chief minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit passed away on Saturday (July 20). She was 81. Bollywood celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon and Urmila Matondkar have expressed their condolences on social media.

Akshay Kumar, who will be next seen in ‘Mission Mangal’, took to Twitter to pay his last respect to the veteran political leader.

“Extremely sad to know about the passing away of #SheilaDixit ji…she effectively changed the face of Delhi during her tenure. Heartfelt condolences to her family,” the ‘Kesari’ actor wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Raveena Tandon paid homage to the three times Delhi chief minister on Twitter. She wrote,” Respect and prayers????????????????????. Condolences to her family.Was a  much respected and loved CM.Brought about a positive visible change in Delhi during her tenure. Rest in peace #sheiladixit . Om Shanti.”

Vivek Oberoi, who was last seen in ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi’, wrote, ”One of the tallest leaders of the @INCIndia, a graceful politician whose contribution to Delhi has been irrefutable. RIP #SheilaDikshit ji. Heartfelt condolences to #SandeepDikshit and the bereaved family. Om Shanti.”
