New Delhi: Bollywood actress Bruna Abdullah is expecting her first child with fiancé Allan Fraser. Bruna and Allan got engaged in July 2018. The soon-to-be mommy, who has been part of films like ‘I Hate Luv Stories’ and ‘Mastizaade’, is quite excited to welcome a little bundle of joy into her life. The sixth months pregnant actress is enjoying her pregnancy phase to the fullest and her pictures are a proof of that.
Bruna broke stereotypes when she decided to give birth to her baby before getting married. The beautiful actress, while talking to a leading daily, revealed how she is planning to welcome her child into the world.
Bruna said that she always desired a natural birth and hence has chosen water birthing for her delivery.
“I always knew that if I had a baby, I would go for water birthing. I love water and the thought of being in a warm pool, feeling relaxed and waiting for my baby, is the best thing I can ask for. I have always desired a natural childbirth — no medication, epidurals or cesarean sections. It has been proven that being in water provides more comfort during contractions; the buoyancy of the water allows more relief during labour,” Bruna told Bombay Times.
According to Americanpregnancy.org, ‘’Water birth is the process of giving birth in a tub of warm water. Some women choose to labor in the water and get out for delivery. Other women decide to stay in the water for the delivery as well. The theory behind water birth is that since the baby has already been in the amniotic fluid sac for nine months, birthing in a similar environment is gentler for the baby and less stressful for the mother.’’

When asked how she and Alan are preparing for the baby, Bruna said that her mother will come to her rescue.
“I’m not sure you can ever be fully prepared, so we are looking forward to my mom coming to the rescue. The nursery is in the making and it’s looking super cute,” the ‘Jai Ho’ actress told the daily.
On the professional front, Bruna Adullah was last seen in the film ‘Udanchhoo’ as Julia. She has been part of several TV reality shows including ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ and ‘Nach Baliye 6’.
Bruna is still fondly known for her hit item number ‘Subha Hone Na De’ from Akshay Kumar & John Abraham starrer ‘Desi Boyz’.
