Bharat box office collection Day 3: Salman-Katrina’s film earns a total of Rs 95.50 crore in three days, inches close to Rs 100-crore club

And Salman Khan did it again as his Eid release Bharat has hit the bull’s eye at the box-office, after receiving bumper opening on day 1, the film is now inching close to Rs 100 crores in just three days of its release. After the record breaking opening of Rs 42.30 crores and Rs 31 crore on day two, the film has now earned a total of Rs 95.50 crore in three days.

On Friday, day 3 the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial earned Rs 22.20 crore, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest box office figures of Salman-Katrina film, he tweeted: #Bharat maintains a grip on Day 3 [Fri]… Mass circuits remain strong, while some circuits faced normal decline after #Eid festivities… Should witness an upturn on Day 4 [Sat] and 5 [Sun]… Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr. Total: ₹ 95.50 cr. India biz.” (sic)

Bharat hit the screens on Eid, June 5. The film smashed all the opening day records of Salman Khan’s previous Eid releases not only that the film has triumphed over several other Bollywood releases of this year and has become the biggest opener of 2019. The film surpassed opening day collections of Kalank (Rs 21.60 crore).

Bharat was released across 4,700 screens in India and over 1,300 screens overseas. The film has received a mixed response from the critics and audiences mostly praising the film.

Bharat, which is a Hindi remake of a South Korean movie Ode to My Father, also features Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Satish Kaushik, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Asif Sheikh, Nora Fatehi, Shashank Arora, Kashmira Irani, Kumud Mishra, Ayesha Raza, Meiyang Chang, Manav Vij, Mushtaq Khan and Brijendra Kala.
