WATCH: Vivek Oberoi reacts to his Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Exit Poll meme! Says “prove me wrong, i will say sorry”

Vivek Oberoi took to his Twitter profile today on Monday afternoon and posted a meme that was shared by another person and who used actor’s ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s life to explain ‘Exit Poll’. The meme had Aishwarya and her ex-flamed Salman Khan’s picture from the past with ‘Opinion Poll’ written over it, her picture with Vivek and ‘Exit Poll’ written over it and finally her family picture featuring husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya with ‘Result’ pasted on it. Vivek’s caption with the tweet read- “Haha! creative! No politics here….just life. Credits : @pavansingh1985″.

The tweet drew backlash from his fans as well as celebrities like Sonam Kapoor and Jwala Gutta. Vivek was also issued notice  by the ‘National Commission for Women'(NCW) asking him from “satisfactory explanation”.

‘National Commission for Women’ issues notice to Vivek Oberoi over his Aishwarya Rai Bachchan meme on Exit Poll!

And now the ‘PM Narendra Modi’ actor has finally reacted in this matter but not being apologetic over it when asked by the journalist if he’s sorry.

Vivek in an interview with ANI, when asked if it for publicity, said, “[laughs] yaar pata nahi log iska kyon itna batangad bana rahe hain, Kisi ne mujhe ek yeh creative sa meme bheja jisme mera mazaak udaaya jaa raha hai. Aur maine hansaa hai.. Haha likha hai. Aur saamne wale ko appreciate kiya hai ki haan tumhari creativity hai, log aapka mazaak udaate hain toh apne pe hasna chahiye itna seriously nahi lena chahiye. Aur uspe likha bhi hai maine ki its nothing political, just life. Aur life mei aisa hota hai. People move on. Sath hote hain kabhi, phir aage badh jaate hain. Wo khush hain mai khush hun. problem kya hai? Ek chhoti si meme hi toh hai. Sab hans rahe hain uske oopar. Itan seriously lena.. itna reaction dena!”

And then he proceeds claiming that the people involved in the meme [Salman, Abhishek & Aishwarya) have no issues with it.

Vivek says further: “achha! jo log meme hain unko toh koi aapatti nahi hai. kisi ne kuchh kahan nahi. ye sab neta khade ho gaye hain. kaam karne jaate nahi hain, in sab non-issues par khade ho gaye hain netagiri karne. isko jail mei daalo usko jail mei daalo. Kabhi, did hain West Bengal(Mamata Banerjee)jologon ko meme ke liye jail mei daalti hain aur kabhi  yeh log hain jo maang kar rahe hain ki Vivek ko jail mei daalo. Meri pictuer to band nahi kar paaye to mujhe band karna chahte hain. Ye sab bachpana hai!”.

Reporter: “Don’t you regret?”

Vivek: “Mujhe aap samjhaiye, kya regret karna chahiye?”

Reporter: “jaise wo shadi-shuda hain, aap bhi shadi shuda hain! Ab uske baare mei koi aapke ya unke baare mei kkuchh likhe If it is a closed chapter as u said!?”

Vivek: Roz likhte hain log!

And then he justified his stance and the meme-sharing by saying it is just funny. He also said there’s nothing wrong in it, no bad language used, no vulgar picture used, there’s nothing of that sort in it.

Vivek: “mujhe sorry bolne mei kitna time lagega, mujhe koi problem nahi hai, mai sorry bolne mei expert hun.. aapne dekha hoga. mere kayi photos hain memes  hain ki mai aise proper[holds both his ears]..kaan-waan pakad ke sorry maangta hun mai.”

Reporter: “Aap sorry bol rahe hain?”

Vivek: “nahi nahi, mujhe bataa deejiye maine kya ghalat kiya hai. Agar ghalat kiya hai, toh main sorry bol doonga!”
