Vishwaroopam-2 during I-Day week?

After postponing Sabaash Naidu indefinitely, it looks like Kamal Haasan is keen on reviving Vishwaroopam-2. On his Twitter page, he said “Looking forward to VR2. Am personally getting in to clear the path. Bigger obstacles are out of the way.

Whats left is technical and legal. (sic.)” Going by what he said, we can expect the film to release during the Independence Day week. 

Last year, rumours were abuzz that Lyca Productions, which was bankrolling Sabaash Naidu, is likely to take over the reins of Vishwaroopam 2 from Aascar Ravichandran. However, official confirmation is awaited.

CE contacted Ghibran, who is composing music for the film, and he said, “Songs are almost complete for Vishwaroopam-2.” Posting a picture, Kamal said, “Bear with me and my team. Post-production will take six months. (sic.)”
