New Delhi: Shruti Haasan and her Italian boyfriend Michael Corsale painted the town red with their lovey dovey photos. The ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ actress ofen shared pictures with her beau on social media, making her fans go aww. Although, the two never spoke about their relationship, their pictures were enough to speak about their close bond. Shruti and Michael even juggled between the USA and India to spend some quality time with each other.

Shruti and Micheal even celebrated Christmas 2018 together and ringed in New Year 2019 along with their friends in the United States.
However, they have called it quits after dating for two years; and Michael even confirmed their break-up by putting up a post on Twitter. He mentioned that Shruti would continue to be her best mate and he was grateful to have her as a friend.

A report in a leading daily suggested that the ex-couple parted ways a month ago.
“The decision was taken by mutual consent and there is no bad blood between the two. They continue to remain the best of friends and will always have each other’s back. They really respect and care for each other,” a source close to the couple told Mumbai Mirror.
Shruti met Michael via a common friend while she was in London to record a song with the British alternative rock band ‘Dinosaur Pile-Up’. Michael even met Shruti’s father Kamal Haasan and he also played the role of a Russian soldier in the actor’s film ‘Vishwaroopam 2’.
The buzz around their break-up started when Shruti shared a cryptic post on Instagram on April 10. The ‘Luck’ actress had posted a selfie along with the caption, ‘’ Begin again ???? a new phase, thankful and blessed, for all the love lessons and light.the brightest light shines deep inside the darkest of places. More music more movies and more me – can’t wait. Being with myself has and always will be my greatest love story.’’
On the professional front, Shruti is currently busy shooting for director SP Jananathan’s upcoming film co-starring Vijay Sethupathi. She also has Mahesh Manjrekar’s next in her kitty.
