New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut expressed her displeasure when her performance in ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ was compared to that of Alia Bhatt in ‘Gully Boy’. The ‘Queen’ actress had called Alia’s performance in the film ‘mediocre’, setting several tongues wagging. The ‘Kalank’ actress reacted by saying that she would work hard so that Kangana appreciates her once again.

Kangana’s sister Rangoli recently targeted Alia and Soni in her tweet.
‘’ These non Indians who are living off this land, using and abusing its people and its resources, lying about intolerance and spreading hatred, time to think about their agenda and not to get carried away with their provocations,’’ Rangoli wrote on the micro-blogging site.

It seems even people are confused over Kangana and Alia’s fight. Bollywood screenwrite Nina Arora today tweeted “Kangna up to her old tricks-pretending ya sis’ handle!! Now that Kangna has achieved fame & fortune why is she still consumed by jealousy towards Alia?”
Alia’s mother Soni Razdan replied to the tweet and said that her husband Mahesh Bhatt gave Kangana her break and yet she attacks his daughter and wife.

For the unversed, Kangana had earlier called out Alia for not supporting her last release ‘Manikarnika’. The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress even slammed Alia’s beau Ranbir for not taking a stand on politics.

On the professional front, Alia will be next seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’. The movie co-starring Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur will hit the silver screens tomorrow (April 17). The ‘Highway’ actress also has ‘Takht’ and ‘Brahmastra’ in her kitty.
Talking about Kangana, her last release ‘Manikarnika’ did a decent job at the box office. The ‘Gangster’ star has ‘Mental Hai Kya’, ‘Panga’ and ‘Jaya’ in pipeline.
