Kareena Kapoor set to return as ‘Poo’ from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’?

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has, who made her debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan in J.P. Dutta’s 2000 film ‘Refugee’, has played various memorable characters in a career spanning around 19 years. But, Kareena’s character ‘Poo’ from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ is one of her most loved characters and here comes good news for the actress’ fans. If the latest buzz is to be believed, Kareena Kapoor is set to return as ‘Poo’ from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ for her dear friend Karan Johar but there’s a twist.

According to an entertainment portal, “Karan Johar’s production house is planning to build content on the OTT platform and it includes a web series with a central character of Poo! It is interesting to note that the role will be an extension of her character and it will be relevant to the current times.

Speaking about the same, a source told Bollywood Hungama that, “The project will be made for a major OTT platform. The show revolves around her character POO from K3G and the makers will have a modern-day take on the character.

Both Kareena & Karan Johar are yet to confirm the same but we hope that this turns out to be true.

On the career front, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently wrapped-up the shoot of her next film ‘Good News’ co-starring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. Currently, she is on a break and is spending quality time with hubby Saif Ali Khan & baby boy Taimur Ali Khan in Pataudi. Apart from ‘Good News’, Kareena is also a part of Karan Johar’s multi-starrer ‘Takht’ also featuring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. Also, there are reports that she’ll have an extended cameo opposite Irrfan Khan in his comeback film ‘Angrezi Medium’.
