Manohar Parrikar passes away at 63; Vivek Oberoi, Sanjay Dutt & other B’wood celebs mourn his death

New Delhi: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar breathed his last on Sunday (March 17) after a prolonged illness. He was 63.  The former Defence Minister was battling health issues since a year and his condition turned extremely critical today. Manohar, who was diagnosed with a serious pancreatic ailment, was undergoing treatment at his private residence in Panaji. Bollywood celebrities including Vivek Oberoi, Nimrat Kaur, Prasoon Joshi took to social media to mourn his death.

Lyrcist Prasoon Joshi tweeted, ”A man who served till the last breath . A true warrior. Respect .#ManoharParrikar.”

Vivek Oberoi, who is essaying the role of PM Narendra Modi in his biopic, called Manohar Parrikar, a great leader.

”A true patriot passes away, RIP #ManoharParrikar ji. A great leader who we will always admire, remember and seek inspiration from. Heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones,” the actor wrote on the micro-blogging site.
