New Delhi: Director Anurag Basu, who is currently co-judging ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ along with Shilpa Shetty and Geeta Kapur, is known to be a prankster on the sets. The ‘Life in a Metro’ director recently played a prank which left Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty in a state of shock. It so happened that Anurag caught hold of the ‘Dhadkan’ actress’ phone and messaged her mother that she wanted to get separated from hubby Raj Kundra as they had a major tiff. Hmm, that’s a deadly prank, isn’t it?
Shilpa was clueless about the prank and she only got to know about it after Geeta Kapur told her. As soon as the former Bigg Boss host came to know about the mischievous prank, she took away her from Anurag and called her mom. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Shilpa called her panic-stricken mother and told that the text was part of the prank played by Basu.

Sunanda Shetty assumed the divorce text to be true and Shilpa told her that she should never believe anybody informing her about Shilpa’s pregnancy or her separation until she informed her.
“No need to panic maa. Everything is fine. Anurag dada sent that message from my phone. Don’t ever believe if you get any messages that I am pregnant or separating till I myself come and tell you,” Shilpa was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.
The incident happened during the chat show segment which was being shot with choreographer-director Farah Khan.

Shilpa even shared a long post on Instagram, mentioning how Anurag and Geeta keep on playing pranks on her on the sets of ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’.
