After the humongous success of Ranveer Singh & Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Simmba’, Karan Johar & Rohit Shetty are all set to reunite with ‘Sooryavanshi’ featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. One of the most-awaited films, ‘Sooryavanshi’ will see Akshay Kumar playing the role of Anti-Terrorism Squad’s chief. The makers recently released the first look posters of ‘Sooryavanshi’ & the film is already creating a lot of buzz. The name of Akshay’s leading lady is not yet announced but the latest buzz suggests that Jacqueline Fernandez might bag the film.

According to Bollywood Hungama, “The leading lady for Rohit Shetty’s cop film, Sooryavanshi is none other than Jacqueline Fernandez.“
However, an official announcement is still awaited.
If this turns out to be true then it’ll be exciting to see Jacqueline & Akshay sharing screen-space again after ‘Housefull’ series & ‘Brothers’.

From Rohit Shetty’s police universe, ‘Sooryavanshi’ is set to go on floors in May & will hit the theatres on Salman Khan’s favorite release date, i.e, Eid 2020.
On the career front, Jacqueline was last seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’ whereas Akshay is set to entertain audience with ‘Kesari. Featuring Parineeti Chopra opposite ‘Khiladi Kumar’, ‘Kesari’ is set to hit theatres on 21st March.
