After sharing a series of first look posters, the makers of Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film Kesari finally dropped the trailer today, a month before the release of the film. Based on the true story of the Battle of Saragarhi, the trailer will blow your mind with Akshay’s intense portrayal in the movie.
The three-minute trailer starts with Akshay Kumar standing tall with a sword in one hand and a chakram (circular weapon) in another against an army of invaders. The actor took to his twitter handle to share the trailer with fans:

In the movie, Akshay Kumar plays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, who led the Sikhs in the Battle of Saragarhi and defended his post against an army of 10,000 Afghan soldiers.
Talking about the film, Akshay Kumar had told PTI, “It is for the first time that I am doing a war film, it is new for me. So I am very excited about it.”
Helmed by Anurag Singh, Kesari that also stars Parineeti Chopra as female lead is all set to hit the silver screens on March 11. Watch Kesari trailer below:
