The viral wink girl Priya Prakash Varrier’s tamil rom-com ‘Oru Adaar Love’ released on Valentine’s Day last week is getting a lot of negative criticism with fans getting disappointed with it’s ending. Ahead of film’s release, a promo clip from the film showing Priya and lead hero Roshan Abdul Rahoof kissing, had gone viral too but for all wrong reasons as the fans found it cheap. And now the film takes another blow as the film’s tragic ending did not go well with the audience.

Upon it’s release, the film did not get good reviews and the ending was to blame largely for it. The fans too, after watching the film took to social media to slam the makers.
And now the director Omar Lulu has revealed that he re-shot the climax in a day’s time and the new version will be screened in the cinema halls from Wednesday noon show.
Omar told Manorama Online: “We re-shot the climax in a day’s time and a 10-minute sequence will replace the existing climax. Apart from this, around 10 minutes from the total duration of the movie has been cut. The new version will hit the screens from Wednesday noon show”.
“This is my third movie after Happy Wedding and Chunks. And with back-to-back rom-com I wanted to bring in a realistic feel to this movie and decided to go for a tragic end. However, that is not what our audience was expecting. Many people gave me negative feedback on the climax sequence. Hence, my producer and I decided to go for a change and shoot a new climax.” –Omar told Manorama when asked what is the reason for such a decision.
He also alleged that a negative campaign has been started online against the film and by the people who haven’t even watched the film.
The film starring Priya, Roshan and Noorin Shereef in lead roles, deals with high school romance. Last year, the first song-promo ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ upon it’s release took internet by storm as Priya’s wink and Roshan’s reaction got viral on social media. It also found space in all the national news channels making Priya and Roshan overnight sensations.
Priya was also in news recently when her upcoming debut Bollywood film ‘Sridevi Bungalow’ which is speculated to be based on Sridevi’s life and has a bath tub scene. Boney Kapoor has slapped a legal notice against it.

Coming back to the latest update on ‘Oru Adaar Love’..
The current version of the film meets a very tragic end which is the death of the lead hero ‘Roshan'(played by Roshan Abdul Rahoof), and the rape of the female lead ‘Gadha’ (played by Noorin Shereef).
