The grapevine has it that Vijay may team up with AR Murugadoss for his 62nd film. The duo had teamed up earlier for Thuppakki (2012) and Kaththi (2014). Speaking to a website recently, the filmmaker said talks were in the early stages, and he’s not in a position to share anything.
Likely to be bankrolled by Lyca Productions, we hear that talks are on with Sonakshi Sinha but nothing has been finalised yet. But if it materialises, this will be her second Tamil fi lm after Lingaa (2014). Murugadoss and Sonakshi had worked previously in Holiday (2014, remake of Thuppaki) and Akira (2016, remake of Mouna Guru, 2011).
While Vijay is occupied with Atlee’s fi lm, Murugadoss is busy with his Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Mahesh Babu in the lead.
