Late legendary actress Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor made a successful Bollywood debut last year with Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Dhadak’ opposite Ishaan Khatter. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the official Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairaat’ went on to do good business at the box-office. Last month, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan to made her debut with ‘Kendarnath’ and her second film ‘Simmba’ went on to become one of the highest grossing films of all times. While Janhvi and Sara share friendly equation on a personal level, both of them are pitted against each other professionally.

Recently, paparazzi clicked Janhvi as she stepped out from her vanity van to shoot for Neha Dhupia’s chat show ‘Vogue BFFs’ with her younger sister Khushi Kapoor. During the same, paparazzi pulled her leg by calling her ‘Sara Ji’. Janhvi Kapoor smiled and replied, “jaan pooch ke bola aapne” (you said her her name deliberately) and cleared that she is unaffected by the comparisons.

Recently, there were reports that Janhvi’s father Boney Kapoor blasted her PR team for not working as efficiently as Sara’s team. However, Boney Kapoor is yet to react on the same.
On the career front, Janhvi has already started working on her second film which is the biopic of pilot Gunjan Saxena. Post which, she will be seen in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer ‘Takht’.
Speaking about Sara Ali Khan, there are reports that she has signed Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’ opposite Kartik Aaryan however the official announcement is still awaited.
