A thriller inspired by Angamaly Diaries

Express News Service

Vincent Selva, who directed the Santhanam-starrer Inga Enna Solluthu, is back with his next, a thriller, Pathu Second Muththam.

He says, “My film revolves around a female protagonist, who will solve an important issue after facing hardship. It’s about how she confronts the whole situation by taking the violent route. We shot in and around Kodaikanal, Hyderabad and Vagamon for two months.”

Selva wanted newcomers for his cast because of the subject he was handling. “If I had gone with a star, the audience would not have been able to connect with the story. I was heavily inspired by Angamaly Diaries, which had only newcomers. Likewise, my film also has a bunch of newbies, aside from Thambi Ramaiah,” he says, adding that Pathu Second Muththam will have no songs.
