Director Seenu Ramasamy, who recently completed shooting for Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Kannae Kalai Maane, took to his Twitter account to confirm that he’s collaborating soon with Samuthirakani. Speaking to CE, the Dharma Durai director says, “after Neerparavai, both of us wanted to collaborate on a project and when we met recently, it materialised.

The film, similar to my other films, will be a village based story. As far as the story is concerned, it’ll be a family drama that’ll talk about human relations.”

The director was supposed to start the Vijay Sethupathi starrer Maamanithan after Kannae Kalai Maane. “It all depends on Vijay’s dates for Maamanithan. If he says he’ll be free after four months, we would get done with this project first. Scripting is done already and we’re ready to go for shoot.”

Seenu Ramasamy’s next release Kannae Kalai Maane will see him collaborating with Udhay for the first time. Tamannaah, who he had worked with in Dharma Durai plays the female lead in this film which was shot in a single schedule of 45 days.
