Last seen in the Vishal-starrer Kaththi Sandai, Soori has been approached for Vijay Chander’s film starring Vikram in the lead. This yet-to-be-titled flick has Telugu actor Ravi Kishan as the villain, and will be bankrolled by Silverline Film Factory that had funded Vikram’s shelved period flick Karikaalan.
A source tells CE, “Though talks are on for this film, Soori is yet to sign on the dotted line.” Besides this, we hear, he’s also a part of Atlee’s project with Vijay. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited.
Reports suggested that the team was in talks with Sai Pallavi and wanted to rope her in as the leading lady. Vijay himself had confirmed this to us a while back. “Many think that this film is a remake of some Hollywood film, but it’s an original script,” Vijay Chander had told us. This film will have music by Thaman.
On the other hand, the comedian is busy with a slew of films including Ippadai Vellum, Gemini Ganesanaum Suruli Rajanum,
Saravanan Irukka Bayam Yen and Thondan, among others.
