Arjun is all set to make his Tollywood re-entry after seven years with director Hanu Raghavapudi’s untitled flick with Nithiin. The filmmaker tells CE, “He plays a ‘very special antagonist’ and the role is not only about style but also has a lot of substance. He will join the team in the next schedule in the US.”

Explaining why he chose ‘the action king’ over other actors, he adds, he didn’t have anyone else in mind for this role.  Hanu was quite nervous to approach him with the offer initially. “I didn’t even have the courage to pitch the story to him. I kept assuming how he would react for a negative role. But he liked it instantly,” he shares.

On the other hand, Arjun awaits the release of Arun Vaidyanathan’s Tamil-Kannada bilingual Nibunan/Vismaya. Megha Akash plays Nithiin’s love interest in the film, which is being produced by 14 Reels Entertainment.
