Shraddha goes gaga over Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi

It took just two days of shooting with Vijay Sethupathi for Shraddha Srinath to conclude that he’s an absolute gentleman and can stun his co-stars with his performance. In Vikram Vedha, directed by Pushkar-Gayathri, Shraddha plays a pivotal role and is paired with Madhavan, who will be seen as an encounter specialist.

In the latest schedule of the film, she had a few scenes to shoot with Vijay Sethupathi, and she can’t stop gushing about the actor. In a chat with CE, she said, “I have always admired him and now, I admire him even more. He’s a gentleman and introduces himself in such a down-to-earth manner. He is very respectful and treats everybody around him as equals.”

On her scenes with him, Shraddha said: “We recently shot a scene; a reaction shot. I had to just react to his performance. I didn’t realise till we shot the scene that I naturally reacted to his performance. It brought out good emotions from me.”

Vijay plays a gangster and his grey-bearded look has already become a rage online. It’s the first time in her career that Shraddha has teamed up with two directors. “I was always curious to know what a female director can bring to the table.

Pushkar and Gayathri complement each other beautifully. Gayathri takes care of the aesthetic part, and she gives prime importance to excruciating details. Pushkar takes care of other things.”
Shraddha, who will be seen in Kaatru Veliyidai, is looking forward to work with Madhavan in the next schedule in March.
