Following Rajinikanth’s Kabali and SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, Vijay’s Mersal will be screened at the Grand Rex Cinemas in Paris, the largest cinema hall in Europe, boasting of a seating capacity of over 2,000 seats.
The theatre group, Le Grand Rex, shared this information on Twitter, confirming that the movie will be screened on October 18. This also confirms that there is no change in plans conocerning the release of this film outside Tamil Nadu.
Mersal is scheduled to hit the screens on October 18 on the occasion of Diwali. The team is now working in full swing to release the film in both Tamil and Telugu on the same day. Directed by Atlee, Mersal is the 100th film of Sri Thenandal Films and the makers have left no stone unturned in promoting the film. It is also said that they are also planning to release the film in a record number of theatres.
